Dr. Teriya Monick Richmond was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Dr. Richmond pursued her medical education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and School of Public Health, where she received her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health. She is widely known as “Your Total Health Doctor.” During her training at Baylor College Community and Family Medicine, Dr. Richmond served as Chief Resident and honed her skills in Family Medicine to be a doctor of agency for improving the health of all patients she provides medical care.
Dr. Richmond is committed to bringing quality, evidence-based medical care to the minority community and is passionate about women’s health issues. Dr. Richmond is the CEO of Teriya M. Richmond, MD, MPH, PLLC. In her private practice, she offers services including but not limited to chronic medical disease prevention and management, women’s and men’s wellness, and intimacy and reproductive health.
Dr. Richmond curated a holistic wellness practice including massages, facials and pedicures, and primary mental health care called “Your Total Health Clinic and Day Spa. Additionally, Dr. Richmond was the first Chief Medical Officer of Aids Foundation Houston. She is Primary Investigator with Next Innovative Clinical Research exercising her skills in public health and clinical trials to advance medicine. She was most recently appointed the University Physician at Texas Southern University.
